Yiasemi

Julien Marga and Jordi Cassagne have been touring for 6 years, with the Julien Marga Quartet. Whis this project, a special bond and musicianship developped between them, as they performed in clubs and festivals.

More recently, they decided to form Yiasemi where each of them could reveal his personality. In this duo, the two acolytes take you through a repertoire of original compositions. They lead you towards soft and heady melodies, and rich harmonies sometimes drawing their colors from pop, rock or jazz music. They seek surprising and confusing sound textures, creating a suspended and indefinite space-time, which gives way to a journey crossing multiple lands.
