People who heard the name Casimir Liberski would think of the Brussel-born jazz pianist and composer who spent some time in the US and produced a few heady math-jazz trio albums. But for quite some time now, in fact ever since he got his hands on his first baby Casio or his daddy's primitive Mac, Casimir has developed a close relationship with computer music which has been mutually beneficial both to his virtuoso piano playing as well as his virtual one with the use of MIDI programming and sequencing.
Making electronic music has always been part of Casimir's creative mind and process which shaped how he composes, improvises, and hears music.
Now, Casimir Liberski (aka Kazlib), will play the quirky beats and synthy melodies he has been hearing in his head for the first time in front of a live audience. Infused with nostalgia for the addictive themes from retro video games of his childhood, early raving 90's intelligent brain dance music, contrapuntal classical music or even experimental jazz and everything else nerdy enough to enter Casimir's vast galaxy of dreamy flavors will be on the menu.
