Vooruit Arts Centre - since 1 January 2017 also an Arts Institution - is the beating heart of the arts district in Ghent, with the Minard Schouwburg, De Krook city library and Capitole just a stone's throw away. Every year 350,000 visitors come for theatre, debate, concerts, talks, performances, parties, dance, literature and much more. The Vooruit Café, housed in an impressive 100-year-old monument, acts as the meeting place.
