HYPNOTE RECORDS ASBL

The independent label Hypnote Records was created in 2016 by double bass player Giuseppe Millaci and sound engineer Jonas Verrijdt to fill a gap in the jazz scene in Wallonia and Brussels. 

Its main activity is music production. Open-mindedness, introspection, a taste for creation and refinement, combined with the talent, dynamism and very personal universes of each artist define the identity of the label.

Its policy is to follow and help the artists to develop and to allow them to keep the artistic control of their works.

In 2017, Hypnote Records became a member of SIMIM, the management society for music producers' rights.

In September of the same year, the label launched its catalogue with 3 new albums and produced artists from the Belgian and international jazz scene with the help of crowdfunding. Since 2018, the label is a recognised operator of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Today, the Hypnote Records catalogue is distributed worldwide by one of the largest independent physical distributors in the United States "Alliance Entertainment" and distributed in France by Inouïe Distribution.
